Do I pay any fee for selling or exchanging currency?

If you save the receipt, you won't pay a fee when you exchange your travel currency back. The same applies if you have a FOREX Credit Card. If you do not have a FOREX Credit Card or receipt, it costs SEK 50 to exchange foreign currency in our stores.

Can I exchange currency back in all FOREX stores in the Nordics without a fee upon presentation of a receipt?

On presentation of a receipt, you can sell back the currency stated on the receipt in any FOREX Store without a fee. You will receive a refund of the currency of the country where the exchange takes place. In Sweden, for example, you get SEK back.

Can I exchange money back without a receipt?

You can exchange back and sell foreign currency to us without a receipt – but if you have bought the currency from us and saved the receipt, you avoid the exchange fee of SEK 50. If you have a FOREX Credit Card, you also avoid a fee.

How to get the amount when repurchasing travel currency?

When repurchasing travel currency, we can offer you the amount in cash or you as a customer can choose to have the amount deposited into your account for a fee of SEK 25.

What ID documents apply when I want to exchange?

When exchanging currencies at FOREX, it is important that you have valid identification in order to carry out your transactions smoothly and securely. ID documents that have expired or are broken are not liked. Swedish passport - A Swedish passport issued by the Swedish Police Authority is a valid ID document for transactions at FOREX. Swedish national ID card - A Swedish national ID card issued by the Swedish Police Authority is a valid ID document for transactions at FOREX. Swedish driver's license - A Swedish driver's license issued by the Swedish Transport Agency is a valid ID document for carrying out foreign exchange transactions with us. Swedish SIS-marked ID card - If you have a SIS-marked ID card, which has been issued by a bank, a company or a government agency, you can use this as identification at FOREX when exchanging currency. Make sure that the card is correctly marked with the SIS logo for it to be accepted. ID card issued by the Swedish Tax Agency - The Swedish Tax Agency's ID card is an approved ID document within Sweden. For non-Swedish citizens, we strongly recommend that you have a valid passport to carry out currency exchange with us. A passport is an internationally recognized ID document and will facilitate your transactions at FOREX
